Meet The Founder
Candice is a qualified professional makeup artist and multidisciplinary creative with a keen interest in Astrology and Human Design. She is also a self-taught photographer, and passionate about fashion and personal style.
Having always been drawn to the creative process, but unable to find jewelry she truly loved, Candice began designing her own pieces, commissioning a jeweler to help bring her vision to life. She envisioned herself in a laboratory designing unique collections—and thus, LAB79, The Gilded Laboratory, was born.
Our name and logo, LAB79 pays homage to the Periodic table of elements, namely the chemical element of gold (Au) and its atomic number 79.
